Why Werk 716

Western New York deserves better than the back of the shop.

Too many people have walked into a sex shop and felt unwelcome, unsafe, or unseen — especially women, queer, trans, and marginalized folks. Werk 716 exists to change that: a bright, affirming, education-first space where curiosity is met with care instead of judgment.

  • Explicitly LGBTQ+ and trans-affirming — not just "tolerant"
  • Education-first: consent, communication, and real knowledge
  • Body-positive and size-inclusive, for every body
  • Queer- and trans-owned, rooted in lived experience
"Empowering Pleasure, Embracing Diversity."
Founded by two Western New Yorkers with deep roots in the LGBTQ+ community and a shared belief that everyone deserves a space to learn, connect, and be themselves — safely.
